No Food Has Entered Gaza In Fourty-Four Days

I keep seeing headlines about “food insecurity.”

SHUT UP

The word is “starvation”. Starvation. You media weasels.

Now despite what a lot of people think, starvation isn’t fast, and there were some stores, but those stores have run out.

So Israel is deliberately starving something like 1.7 million people, to death.

Meanwhile the only nation in the world trying to stop this is Ansar-Allah (the Houthis). And what is America doing? Sponsoring a ground invasion by the “official government” of Yemen.

The Houthis had no blockade during the ceasefire. When the Israelis announced they would cut off all aid to Gaza, the Houthis said they’d give them two days, then start up the blockade again. Which they did. (Note also that America offered Ansar-Allah an end to all sanctions, recognition and rolling the official government into them if they’d stop the blockade. So the Houthis are doing this at GREAT cost.)

People roll their eyes when Iranians and whatnot call America “the Great Satan” but… seems pretty accurate to me. Helping a genocide, and attacking the only nation in the world trying to stop the genocide.

One can always be “more evil’, but the US is pushing the boundaries here. Israel, of course, has been evil for every second of its existence and the national sport is “how can we be even more evil, while screaming “never again?”

The only good news is that America is speed-running imperial collapse. But even so, it’s likely to come too late for the Palestinians.

    Like I wrote previously, the best way to understand the non-response of USA and Western Europe to Israel is that Israel is a role model, gazed upon with admiration for daring to do and succeeding at doing what white colonialists in South Africa and elsewhere failed to do successfully.

    This explains why so many self-proclaimed liberals/leftists, like the Democrats in USA Greens in Germany, are strong supporters of Israel. Unlike rightists, who are willing to keep undermenschen alive as slaves (hence Trump’s ethnic cleansing proposal for Israel), liberal/leftists want the undermenschen to disappear, other than a few pets kept alive to be paraded around for virtue signaling purposes, but liberal/leftists don’t dare admit their true desires and they want someone else to take care of making the undermenschen disappear so they can later virtue signal by condemning the disappearance. Same as ancestors of liberal/leftists were mostly silent when Native Americans were exterminated. And of course the German Greens are descendents of the Nazis.

    Right now, USA and Western Europe are merely living vicariously through Israel, but eventually they will reproduce the story of the Palestinians in USA and Western Europe, using the Israel experience as a guide. This assumes Israel continues to be successful. Otherwise, USA and Western Europe will write Israel off as a failed experiment and look around for another role model.

  2. Alan Sutton

    Nice article Ian. We all still need to be outraged by what Israel is doing in Gaza, and the West Bank increasingly.

    The Trump Tariffs/assault on legal norms government may also be designed to hog the headlines while Gaza is euthanased and Ukraine succumbs. Not its primary purpose but a nice additional effect.

    Let’s not forget those poor Palestinians who are all being murdered, starved and relocated by those disgusting Israelis.

    Nothing is hidden anymore. We are in the time of action.

    Where is the resistance in the West? No doubt it will arrive, it usually does. Not a good time at all.

  3. First the media covered up mass killings,
    Then the media helped addict millions to opioids,
    Then the media helped a war criminal kill millions
    Then the media covered up the brain damaging chemicals put into drinking water
    Then the media cheered on bombing weddings and funerals
    Then the media refused to cover Sanders but had a camera on Trumps empty podium for hours,
    Then the media propagandized how a vaccine that —according to the manufacturers clinical trial was useless and would kill millions— was safe and effective
    Then the media helped an ongoing genocide

    And people all sedated, impaired and bathed in chemicals watched, waiting eagerly to be told what to think by the propaganda machine that kept sacrificing them.

  4. Jefferson Hamilton

    “Food insecurity” is like “people experiencing houselessness,” just part of the language games played by professionally comfortable people who will never be anywhere personally close to the things these supposedly “safe” phrases represent. Just a further example of the HR-ification of modern discourse.

  5. Mark Level

    Yes, the facts are very clear, and beyond bleak, they are tragic. Some commenters who I have recently seen who currently agree (generally) that the full Genocide of Palestinians within the borders of the Zionist Entity are Norman Finklestein and Brian Berletic. I’m not sure where Chris Hedges is, but last time I saw him speak, he seemed to be in agreement with the above. Finklestein says “There is no Gaza” left– all but 8% of the housing stock has been destroyed, little or no energy, not much if any clean water, no food coming in. There is a Palestinian diaspora spread across the world since 1948, so the dream of a total “Final Solution” is unattainable, but . . .

    Revelo calls it right, the Zionist Entity is a model for dealing with the “Other” by eliminating it except for the tamed “pets” kept alive for humiliation rituals. And it is a model designed by and never yielded by the old Colonial powers, Euro & Anglo-American, who learned nothing from the Nazi Holocaust except to try to revive it via gradualist measures, which now 8 decades later have reached fruition, for the most part. His point about the German Greens is also literally true, Annalina Baerbock’s grandfather was a Nazi officer, and documents that he signed saying he was a committed “National Socialist” during the war were revealed. She’s proud of him, just as Canada’s Chrystia Freedland is proud of her Nazi grandfather who wrote Der Sturmer style propaganda for the extermination of Jews for several years, and was never brought to justice. Of course both of these people (& their ilk) are ardent Zionists all in for another genocide against Semites (Palestinians, only a minority of Ashkenazi Jews qualify if one uses racial data– always dicey, in my view.)

    I agree with Allen S’s “nothing is hidden”, indeed when I typed Palestinians are being starved into the search engine, the AP and others were openly admitting it, surprisingly not ignoring it nor going along with the Narrative– e.g. clowns who are still saying “Ukraine will win!”, a complete absurdity. A pro-genocide site I came across (not blocked as an openly Nazi site like Stormfront would be) called “JNS”, presumably Jewish News Service or maybe Jewish National Socialists/, had a piece patiently explaining the following:

    The Romans while besieging the city blocked food imports, so QED say the JNS staff, this is an acceptable method of fighting war, it should not be criticized!! Also they pretty openly quoted partisans saying EVERY Palestinian is a Hamas supporter and “seeks” (without any means of attaining not mentioned) “the destruction of the Jews” so starvation and mass extermination are simply the measured response. (International Law be damned.)

    This is exactly the line that the Trump admin are following, in lockstep. Biden’s spox person was Matthew Miller, “Count Smirkula”, these people don’t even smirk, they speak robotically from the script: “Every death in Gaza and the West Bank is due to Hamas.” “Any immigrant student who supports Palestinians is a full-on Hamas ‘member’ and should be deported,” possibly to a Salvadoran torture-prison run (ironically) by the Ethnically Palestinian dictator, Mr. Bukele, to rot and die. . .

    How is this possible? I would say on the Macro-Level, this proves the Big Lie of Chief Justice Roberts when removing voting-rights enforcement in the Old Confederacy, that “We have a black (sic, half-so, I guess the half that “counts”) President, so the US is no longer a racist country”!! In truth, the JFK and LBJ administrations supported desegregation as a necessity so we could be a global empire. The Republicans, however, had a different idea, and clearly continue so today.

    The Dimmies’ performative Multiracial Coalition was merely cover: if a “Latina woman with imposter’s syndrome” was blowing up dirty foreigners who don’t respect “our interests” as a CIA functionary, well, her skin-color showed how murdering the black and yellow people is actually “progressive”!! I love how the US & UK Deep States put People of Color in charge of their most murderous War departments, David Lamy of the UK is black and announces measures to steal from and harm Africans all the time . . .

    The Biden Admin gestured completely performatively that while they were funding and directing the first stage of the Genocide, they were with the other hand combating it.” When the Israelis wouldn’t let aid in they would parachute drop some, sometimes killing people on the ground it landed on, sometimes feeding them. There will be no such false Mercy or Humanity shown by the Trump Crew, they are fine with the mass extermination of Brown People, as are their allies, the Saudis, Gulf States, Erdogan’s Turkiye, etc. I guess they believe that they will not be next? I wouldn’t be so confident if I lived in one of those countries, given the Zionist ideology.

    Allen Sutton asks, “Where is the resistance in the West? No doubt it will arrive, it usually does. Not a good time at all.” Well, it is growing, but more outside the West than within it. I did cover the fact that the American public has decisively turned against the Zionist Entity since Oct. 2023, but the Dimmie party leaders as much as the Rape-publicans are committed to it, so damn the voters!!

    In the Rest of the World, the clock is ticking and the bill is coming due, however. It seems that Trump’s puny attention span means there will be no BIG attack on Iran (so Netanyahu loses for once?) as China and Russia are too much on their side and the costs would be too great. (I know a certain MJ on here claims that Putin is a Zionist stooge and will not defend Iran, but don’t seriously buy that– if one leg of the troika is eliminated, neither Russia nor China comes out better, and they are both a step closer to being the next item on the menu. Putin and the Russian staff are many things, but stupid and suicidal do not feature high on the list.)

    The RoW (rest of the world) have turned on Israel, & the US, and Trump’s extortionate demands on our lickspittle “allies” throw the old Coalition of the White Willing into doubt. Countries whose leadership will remain tied to Netanyahu even while the extermination becomes total, I would judge, will be certainly Germany, Orban’s Hungary,
    98% likely the UK. (Though Starmer recently did a volte-face and said that starving the Gaza populace is NOT acceptable. I assume his unpopularity at home, plus his knowledge that if there are War Crimes trials in a decade or more, small fry like him would be among the sacrificial lambs offered up.) The Irish and the Spanish and some others will not be on board. The Italians probably won’t. The French Macron leadership wants to support it, but given the large Arab population there and the general contempt for the government, that is a tricky calculation. Some like the Scandinavians, Dutch, etc. I assume will not want to be complicit.

    IF one of the captive Arab dictatorships suffers a sudden uprising and coup when the Genocide is too open (which would it be? Jordan most likely, possibly Egypt or even KSM) there could be cavalry riding to the rescue, though odds are not high on that happening. IF the Zionists do something too insane, say have their Red Heifer Sacrifice in the Al-Aqsa Mosque and declare the initiation of a Third Temple there, the Western stooges might not be able to keep the lid on the steaming kettle.

    The Zionist Death Cult Entity is an Albatross around the US Empires’ neck, but neither people in the Trump Cult leadership, nor those in the Dimmie Friendly Fascism Coalition are capable of realizing this. So within a decade (perhaps less?) the US Empire will be hated and shunned by the BRICS nations and over 85% of the world populace.

    There might be freedom and prosperity in other parts of the world, but in the US there will be either Civil War, perhaps revived skin color codes with attendant status rights if Trumpism survives. A century after Spain’s Siglo de Oro, the old aristocracy were poor, near starvation levels, but comforted themselves with titles, Conde, Don, etc. & whould fight duels when their “honor” was not accepted. Perhaps that will be the US’s fate. Though the US has now announced an “International War against Anti-Semitism” and the jailing of anyone who sees Arabs as human, the unexpected consequences of that will likely be a rise in anti-Semitism (which the Zionist Entity and ADL, etc. are very happy about), which might make for some interesting power/status dynamics. Presumably enough well-connected billionaires will prevent there being much blowback in the US, however. (And of course humanist, non-Zionist American Jews should in no way be blamed for the obscene murders initiated by Shabbas Goys like Trump, et al.)

    I have said, since the beginning, that ethnic cleansing was ever always only the plan, and barring that, outright genocide. 11/7 was simply a convenient pretext.

    What does anyone propose to do about it? Moral arguments are wasted on sociopaths. Reward and punishment are the only language that they understand, although they understand that language very well.

  7. Soredemos

    @Jefferson Hamilton

    No, I can tell you personally, because it’s literally my job, that the people who interact closely with the homeless absolutely regularly use this language. The homeless themselves, of course, don’t.

    As for Israel, I have little use for attempts at deep psychological explanations (‘the West supports Israel because Israel is doing the genocide we wish we could do. Something something original colonial sin, something Manifest Destiny’).

    The much simpler explanation is that Israel has spent decades building a very good intelligence and blackmail network (Mosad is flat out the best spy agency in the middle east, and maybe one of the best in the world. They decapitated Hezbollah, and everyone who spent years writing articles and books about how Hezbollah was an impressive paramilitary and major player kind of looks like an idiot now), as well as good old bribery. They likely have dirt on every Senator and Congresscritter. Politicians arwnt complicated. They mostly just want to keep being elected. Be a good Zionist and the money keeps flowing. Dissent and we flood your opponent with money, while also leaking the evidence of you with teenage hookers. Oh, you didn’t go with teenage hookers? Well, you did now, says our evidence.

    That’s oversimplifing of course. It’s likely the Zionist apparatus is so ubiquitous it ensures few politicians even reach the halls of power who would ever be likely to Dissent in the first place. Anyone with principles gets filtered out earlier in the process.

    Do you know of AIPAC, the Israel lobby in the US? Some believe that through it, Israel controls the US which in turn controls Europe.

  9. Revelo

    @Feral Finster, joey_n, Soredemos:

    “The pen is mightier than the sword.”

    “Nothing is more powerful than an idea whose time has come”

    “The ideas of economists and political philosophers, both when they are right and when they are wrong, are more powerful than is commonly understood. Indeed the world is ruled by little else. Practical men, who believe themselves to be quite exempt from any intellectual influences, are usually the slaves of some defunct economist. Madmen in authority, who hear voices in the air, are distilling their frenzy from some academic scribbler of a few years back. I am sure that the power of vested interests is vastly exaggerated compared with the gradual encroachment of ideas….”

    Ignore the part about economics in the last quote (Keynes) and focus on the last sentence, which reaffirms the other quotes.

    Of course I know who AIPAC is. IMO, AIPAC propaganda is successful for the same reason that the idiot propaganda that got Trump elected is successful. Both AIPAC and Trump are saying what people want to hear. If people in USA, Canada, Western Europe didn’t want to hear that Israelis were plucky and often blond haired elves fighting heroically against hordes of dark skinned big nosed Semitic sand nigger towelhead orc fanatics sworn to converting Christians at sword point to their religion of hate and misogyny, then AIPAC would be spinning its wheels and getting no traction whatsoever.

    Ideas, both good and bad, have a way of sweeping over and taking possession of entire populations. Look at Ukraine. Or watch one of those animal videos of a tribe of chimpanzees, initially peacefully lolling about munching on twigs and grooming each other, then something sets them off and suddenly the whole tribe attacks one of the members and tears him/her to pieces. Or one tribe attacks another tribes and genocides it. That’s humanity in a nutshell. We are a social species prone to social contagion of ideas which leads to extreme violence . Where humans differ from chimps is that our bigger brain and technology means our tribes are measured by millions rather than dozens and the violence can last years rather than minutes.

    Note that AIPAC has limited power in India. More likely explanation for support for Israel by India is the old tribal hatred of Muslims (many Palestinians are Christian, but that subtlety gets lost because most non Israelis in that part of the world are Muslims). If tribal religious hate is the only reasonable explanation for Indian support for Israel, then tribalism is probably also a better explanation for USA,/Canada/Europe support than AIPAC.

    I believe we are at the beginning of a long period of conflicts result from mass migrations caused by overpopulation and climate change, plus economic decline in USA/Canada/Europe due to increased competition by rest of world for scarce resources. Declining living standards and shortages will result in tribalism and eventually genocides of weaker tribes stronger tribes. I see Israel as an early stage of this process, but note that Gaza is just one of many genocides in recent times. There are plenty of tribal atrocities in Africa, with more to come IMO. All of these conflicts will be justified by grand ideas and with groups like AIPAC on top managing the grand idea/propaganda process. Underneath the grand ideas is the biological reality of a naturally genocidal social species divided into tribes competing for scarce resources

    @Soredemos: I’m not sure Kompromat means anything anymore. I can’t keep up with the torrent of craziness in crypto right now, but apparently several of the crypto big shots involved in the administration have been in trouble with child pornography and no one in the media cares. Crypto is one of those ideas whose time has come, and everything gets swept away that interferes with this idea.

    Likewise a politician or other public figure who denounces Israel is not going to be savaged because of Kompromat but because his constituents genuinely support Israel. Same as you didn’t need Kompromat to keep racism intact in the 1950’s in the American south. All you needed was to tell the voters the truth about anyone who opposed racism: “My political opponent wants race mixing! He wants your daughter to date and mate with and have children with some black buck!” Voters back then liked racism, same as many voters now like Israel and like genocide of Palestinians.

  11. Feral Finster

    @Feral Finster, joey_n, Soredemos:

    “The pen is mightier than the sword.”

    “Nothing is more powerful than an idea whose time has come”

    This is one of those things that smarter humans tell themselves to make themselves feel better. For some reason, humans really like to do this.Cats, of course, are infinitely superior to dogs in intelligence, nous, cleanliness, independence, etc., yet it is dogs that kill cats and not vice versa.

    For that matter, the sociopaths who rule over us are unimpressed by our cleverness, our witty comebacks, our precious word games, our cute memes, our tightly reasoned arguments and close readings of texts, unmoved by facts, logic, evidence or morality, as long as they have force on their side, as long as the cops and army will shoot when ordered to do so.

    It’s like trying to reason with a schoolyard bully. The bully cares only whether he can smash your face in.

    Truly, this never grows old:

    “A WOLF, meeting with a lamb astray from the fold, resolved not to lay violent hands on him, but to find some plea, which should justify to the lamb himself, his right to eat him.

    He then addressed him: Sirrah, last year you grossly insulted me.

    Indeed, bleated the lamb in a mournful tone of voice: I was not then born.

    Then said the wolf: You feed in my pasture.

    No, good sir, replied the lamb: I have not yet tasted grass.

    Again said the wolf: You drink of my well.

    No, exclaimed the lamb: I never yet drank water, for as yet my mother’s milk is both food and drink to me.

    Upon which the wolf seized him and ate him up, saying: Well! I won’t remain supper-less, even though you refute every one of my imputations.

    Moral: The tyrant will always find a pretext for his tyranny, and it is useless for the innocent to try by reasoning to get justice, when the oppressor intends to be unjust.”

  12. Revelo

    @Feral Finster:

    >This is one of those things that smarter humans tell themselves to make themselves feel better

    And you think you are clever when you repeat “what are they going to do about it?” Obviously, physical action is what causes change in the physical world. But ideas always lie behind physical actions. Without the mind giving the order for the body to act, humans (and other animals) simply sit or lie where they are, without moving. And this same reasoning applies to groups of humans (and tribes of chimps and other animals): movement in the mind precedes movement in the body. And therefore if you want to control a group of humans, you must control their minds.

    It is possible to control the mind and thus body by a multistep process: “act this way or I will hurt you” and since you don’t want to be hurt, you obey. But that is expensive and assumes I have overwhelming physical power so can hurt you without risking being hurt by you. It is much more effective to convince you to act the way I want because it is in your interest. As the Russians say, “woman is like a neck which controls where the head, or man, looks, and thereby the physically weaker woman controls the physically stronger man”.

    With respect to Gaza, Americans and West Europeans have been convinced that it is in their interest to exterminate/enslave Muslims (like I noted, fact that some Palestinians are Christians is an overlooked subtlety) as well as global southerners in general. It wasn’t hard to convince these Americans/West Europeans because resources ARE scarce in this world and tribalism is part of our nature. AIPAC helped in the process of generating support for Israel and hatred of Arabs but hatred of all Muslims was already baked into Christian culture and hatred of brown skin is baked into Indo-European culture (read the Hindu Vedas), so AIPAC was simply pushing a rock downhill faster than it would go on its own. There was no AIPAC that caused Americans in late 1930’s to turn on Japan and viscerally hate “Japs” after USA finally provoked a war in 1941, nor an AIPAC to cause Europeans to viscerally hate Russia now, nor an AIPAC to cause Hutus to hate Tutsis in Rwanda, etc. Tribalism is everywhere, very easy to light a match and set the gasoline on fire when resources are scarce.

  13. Soredemos

    @Revelo

    You’ve said a lot of stuff that I find to be nonsense that I simply don’t care enough to engage with, but excuse me, America provoked the war in 1941? Uh, no. That’s certainly what the self-deluded Japanese leadership believed to be the case, yes, but that doesn’t make it true.

    The Japanese were blatantly raping and pillaging their way through China, in an open campaign of imperialism. Now we can engage in a bunch of pot calling the kettle black moralizing, but whatever the hypocrisies, imperialism is, in fact, bad. From Japan’s perspective they weren’t doing anything the European powers they had explicitly modeled themselves on hadn’t done in the previous century, but that age of open Empire building had passed away by 1941. What Japan was doing to China was atrocious, and the US imposing resource embargoes on Japan until Tokyo stopped was legitimately a justified act of moral principle (which isn’t at all to say that it was done out of some pure moral fortitude). That the Japanese deluded themselves into thinking that they ‘had’ to attack Pearl Harbor, the Philippines, etc, doesn’t mean the US or the west provoked it. The Japanese made the decision to attack, and no, it wasn’t the only option available to them.

    The Japanese especially had been speculating that some sort of war between Japan and the US over the Pacific would inevitably happen for almost a century when it finally did. It was a sort of culturally baked in assumption that shaded decision making. For information on that deep background, I suggest Inose Naoki’s The Century of the Black Ships. For more specific details on the exact sequence of events, factions, and influential individuals that led to Japan feeling backed into a corner and ‘having’ to start the war, Hotta Eri’s Japan 1941: Countdown to Infamy is a brutal self-assessment. You don’t have to engage at all with American or Western authors on this issue. These are actual Japanese (and not for instance Japanese-Americans) giving self-critical assessments.

    Hotta especially is ruthless. She makes it very clear the level of self-delusion and sheer ‘irresponsibility’ (such a quintessential Japanese-ism) that snowballed over a decade or more to culminate in Japan launching a surprise attack on any enemy that massively, ludicrously, outweighed it. Japanese collective decision making went mad, with plenty of people knowing things were getting stupid, and even privately dissenting, but then in their professional capacity arguing emphatically for the exact opposite, because it was clear that that was the direction the policy consensus was heading. When everyone is responsible, no one is responsible was the attitude.

    Japan also went into the war genuinely believing, again out of self-delusion, that it had a real chance of winning. ‘Slap the American’s hard enough, and they’ll back down and talk’. So this insane mindset developed of ‘we can’t resolve this diplomatically, we HAVE to go to war, but also we can’t win that war long-term, it can only be resolved to our advantage through diplomacy’. Yamamoto knew this was stupid, but also decided he needed to do his duty and try to give Japan the best chance of achieving this pipe-dream desired outcome. ‘We’ll run rampant for six months but then the tide will turn’ was his assumption, and that is more or less how things played out.

    Most likely Japan never had any chance of achieving its aims, but maybe if they had actually neutralized Pearl Harbor and denied the US the ability to operate deep into the Pacific things might have played out differently. The original Genda plan for the Pearl Harbor attack involved not only bombing repeatedly, but landing two divisions of Army troops in Hawaii, who likely would have had to be simply left to die, but would have denied the US the use of the islands for up to a year. That plan started getting whittled down immediately, most crucially with the landing operation aspect entirely cut out because it would have involved talking to the Army and revealing the existence of the Pearl Harbor plan to them, likely risking it getting vetoed entirely. For info on the specifics of that absurd debacle, see here: https://digital-commons.usnwc.edu/nwc-review/vol67/iss1/8/

    Japan started that war, full-stop, piggy-backing off of another war in China that they (or rather, rogue elements of the military that Tokyo believed it had no control over but which it eventually politically backed and endorsed) also started full-stop. They had other options, and they were not provoked into it.
